Hello SAEX Community,
We started working on this project with the goal of moving beyond the long-standing limitations of the GTA San Andreas multiplayer ecosystem and building a new gaming environment powered by modern infrastructure.
Rather than relying on the bulky, monolithic codebases, server stuttering, and synchronization issues commonly found in traditional platforms, we're focusing on the capabilities of the SAEX Core.
We've built our runtime architecture around a modular foundation, allowing core server systems to operate independently. Critical mechanics such as authentication, vehicle synchronization, inventory, and world management run as isolated modules instead of being tied to a single, overloaded codebase.
One of our biggest priorities is smooth and responsive gameplay. With high server tick rates and optimized network packets, we're aiming to deliver a stable experience with reliable hit registration, smooth vehicle synchronization without sudden teleportation, and minimal latency.
We've currently completed our initial runtime tests, network stability checks, and the first module integrations. As we prepare to move into closed testing, I'll continue sharing our first in-game footage and technical updates in this thread.
Feedback from developers actively working with the SAEX infrastructure is especially valuable to us, particularly when it comes to networking and configuration. Feel free to share your ideas, suggestions, or anything you'd like to discuss below.
Thanks, everyone, and happy forum browsing!
